Grooming & handling positive conditioning training

Description

Teaching your pup to accept grooming & Vet care by building positive associations with these essential husbandry tasks will make the process better for both you and your pup in the long-term. During this course we will work on training them to understand, accept and feel comfortable with essential grooming and health care tasks. 

This course includes 4 instructional videos:

  1. Training the foundation handling skills: introducing cues for each handling requirement to encourage a cooperative approach

  2. Conditioning your pup to be comfortable with the grooming: working on conditioning them to the tools and items that are used for grooming.

  3. Conditioning your dog to handling and building positive associations: gradually building a positive association with each step of handling and grooming.

  4. Conditioning your pup to be comfortable with the Vet tools: Introducing and conditioning a positive response to the tools used in Veterinary care.
