Terms and conditions
By signing this agreement on our Gingr booking portal and booking with Advanced Behavioural Training Plus (ABT+), you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Bookings and payments
- All services are subject to capacity limitations and should be booked at least 24 hours in advance. We may take walk-ins subject to availability on a limited range of services. To guarantee a spot, clients should ensure they have booked through our gingr portal or admin team.
- Bookings must be made by a person over the age of 18.
- Payments for classes, private consultations, and wedding chaperone services must be paid at least 7 days prior to your booking. At discretion of staff, services may be cancelled or charged at an increased rate if payment has not been made by the due date.
- For all other services, payments can be made up until the completion of the service.
- If payment is not received, ABT+ may take measures to recover the amount owed.
- By booking in a service, clients guarantee that all information provided by them is accurate and complete to the best of their ability.
Cancellation policy
- Cancellations can be made by the client through the gingr portal up to 48 hours prior to the booking start time.
- Within the 48 hour period prior to the booking start time, clients must contact ABT+ to cancel their booking via phone or email.
- Late cancellations (within 24 hours prior to the booking start time), missed bookings, or failures to attend may be subject to cancellation fees up to 50% of the original booking cost.
Dog behaviour & safety
- All dogs in the ABT+ facility must be on lead unless under supervision and direction from one of our trainers
- Clients are expected to prevent their pets from approaching other dogs and clients unless under supervision and direction from one of our trainers for the safety and wellbeing of others in the facility.
- Any dogs who are displaying unsafe behaviour that cannot be managed within their booked service may be removed from that service and offered a transfer to a more appropriate service that is better suited to their needs.
- Clients must inform staff of existing behavioural concerns and prior incidents pertaining to their dog before accessing our services, to the best of their ability.
Health requirements
- All dogs attending the ABT+ facility or group classes outside of the facility must be up to date with vaccinations or have a suitable titre test available for perusal.
- Dogs over 16 weeks need their C5 vaccinations or a C3 and Kennel Cough booster
- Puppies 16 weeks and under need a C3 vaccination at minimum
- Dogs must be in good health when attending the ABT+ facility or group classes outside of the facility.
- We may refuse service if the dog appears injured or ill when it is in the best interest of the dog’s wellbeing.
- Dogs who are suspected/found to have parasites or contagious illness may be refused entry or isolated to protect the health and safety of other animals in the facility or class.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to any dog if we believe it is in the interest of their health and wellbeing.
Emergency care
- In the event of a health emergency, dogs will be taken to a vet immediately and clients will be contacted as soon as possible.
- Any veterinary care or related emergency bills will be the responsibility of the client.
Pick up and Drop off
- For daycare, drop off and pick up can be anytime between 6:30am and 6:00pm. Late pickups may incur additional charges.
- Drop off services may have restrictions such as requiring drop off before a certain time or pick up after a certain time. These will be communicated as part of the booking process. If you do not drop off or pick up your dog within the restricted time frame, you may miss out on your service or face delays during pick up.
Photos, social media, and marketing
- Photos from daycare will be posted to the private facebook group. All members of this group are reviewed and approved, however we are not responsible for members who choose to save and distribute photos from the group.
- Photos from the private facebook group are subject to copyright and cannot be used for commercial purposes by entities other than ABT+
- We may take photos or videos during our services of dogs and clients to be used for marketing purposes including social media marketing, unless the client has requested otherwise in writing
Staff safety
- Staff reserve the right to refuse service at any time if they feel unsafe due to dog behaviour or client behaviour.
- Any aggressive or bullying behaviour from clients towards any staff member or other clients/dogs will not be tolerated and you may be removed from the premises.
Liability
- Clients must agree to the liability disclaimer on our gingr portal prior to accessing our services.
- Clients are expected to follow instructions by staff members while attending our facility or services.
Service changes
- ABT+ reserves the right to update or change services, pricing, policies, or these terms and conditions at any time.
- Clients will be updated via email and any policy changes will be posted on our website.
